Dirty Harry--Sen. Reid and Unions

union Fat Cat.jpg

Fast Fact from Today’s WSJ: Unions outspent businesses by more than 2 to 1 in 2013. If money corrupts, then one would expect Mr. Reid and his colleagues to condemn the "corrupt" influence of unions in politics. And these Democrats presumably would brand liberal billionaire Tom Steyer's pledge to commit his political-action committee to spend $100 million to defeat Republicans in 2014 as especially corrupting—but Mr. Reid has instead welcomed the support.~ Theodore B. Why is Nakoula Basseley Nakoula in jail for practicing free speech in America and WHY doesn't the NYTimes ask this question?

Remember when Madonna dedicated her song “Like a Virgin” to the Pope? And when she burned crosses, and sexually made with a black Jesus in her videos? Or when Sinead O’Connor ripped up a picture of Pope John Paul II on SNL? Ah, remember when Christians around the world slaughtered white women in response to such big ol’ nasties?
Wait…didn’t happen. What else didn’t happen? Neither Madonna or O’Connor was arrested and put in jail for slamming the Christian religion. And the New York Times lauded Madonna for…get ready for it…
“The Triumph of Willfulness.”

Note to the NYTimes: Animal Cruelty is not free speech; it is illegal!

Sometimes the New York Times takes a position so bizarre and out-of-touch with the temperature of America that one has to have a pinch me moment. As in: Pinch me… did the Times just take the stand that unlawful, criminal acts of animal cruelty are protected by the First Amendment? Yep.

Now we had this in our To Do Bin, as in… to do a write up on this over the weekend, but the good readers of the NYTimes have already done our work for us. The Editorial, ran Tuesday, Oct. 6th, titled:

Arrests made in Obama effigy; Palin effigy Free Speech; No pictures of Obama effigy, all msm posted Palin effigy pictures

Breaking News: CNN): -- “Two men have been arrested in connection with an effigy of Sen. Barack Obama that was hung outside a building at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, police said Thursday."
