new york timesWomb Vs. Uterus and the New York Times failing of womenMonday, May 3, 2010 at 12:52 am — admin
The Times likes to boast on the TV ads they run that they have “the best journalists in the world.” They double down on this shill, saying it is impossible to dispute that statement. You know, I would say they indeed have some of the most biased journalists in the world, right up there with Fox and perhaps the state-controlled journos in Russia. Yet…What I’d like to know is this: why do the bestiest journalists in the world use the term womb to refer to uterus when talking about abortion? A lesson from the Times: POTUS need not talk to reporters; a KING grants interviews!Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 8:36 pm — admin

The media figures if it can fool us and sell us the empty suit that is Barack, then they can fool us into believing ObamaCaid will benefit the majority in the long run. The Times Plays Uterine Football with George R. Tiller's MurderSunday, January 31, 2010 at 4:40 pm — admin
The New York Times if scared out of their wits. Why? Because if women don’t vote on choice they might well vote on fiscal policy. FemiSex has pointed out numerous times just how eagerly the media (especially!! The Times) fires up the pot on abortion, in an attempt to keep the topic evergreen. This week it took a jury 37 minutes to convict the whack job that is Scott Roeder of first degree murder in the killing of hero George R. Tiller. Rather than admit the lack of any dissonance in convicting Killer Roeder, this is what the Times wrote in response to the hasty verdict: New York Times to Women: Drop Dead. Plus Arlen Specter is a Bigot!Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 3:21 pm — admin
FemiSex has been relentless in outing Sexism at the Gray Lady. Today we continue our serial showcasing of the institutional sexism in the Op-Ed pages at the NYTimes. Before an event, say a presidential debate or Congressional hearing, the paper does a “Questions For” format; the Op-Ed editors round up ~10 folks and solicit questions to present to the powers that be. Virtually every time the ratio of men to women as questioners is 9/1 (or 90% male to 10% female) or at the bestest best! …80% male. Last Wednesday, Jan. 13th, 2009, the editors of the times ran: Liberal Dude Nation at the New York Times: "Some" private ins. covers abortion, says Times. 87% now equals "Some"?Monday, November 23, 2009 at 12:03 pm — admin
One of our Contributing Editors, Alison, uses the term “Liberal Dude Nation." I’m not sure if she coined it, but it's the most apt term I’ve come across to represent the state of the art of liberal male politics in this country. Check this title: “Don’t let abortion destroy health care reform". It was penned by so-called liberal E. J. Dionne-- a man who is about as far left as one can get…and yet…when it comes to women’s rights and powerful women, E.J. Another glaring failure of the Third Wave: no mention for gender and Hate Crime Bill.Monday, October 12, 2009 at 12:32 pm — admin
The media WANTS to ignore the 250,000 rapes that occur each year! Last Friday this header appeared on the front page of the NYTimes: "House, 281-146, Votes to Define Antigay attacks as Hate Crimes." The web version ran this header: "Congress Acts to Extend Hate Crimes to Cover Gays." Bias alert: Not a single mention that for the first time Congress extended hate crimes to cover women. Here is the lede graf of the web version by the AP: Note to the NYTimes: Animal Cruelty is not free speech; it is illegal!Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:13 pm — admin
Sometimes the New York Times takes a position so bizarre and out-of-touch with the temperature of America that one has to have a pinch me moment. As in: Pinch me… did the Times just take the stand that unlawful, criminal acts of animal cruelty are protected by the First Amendment? Yep. Now we had this in our To Do Bin, as in… to do a write up on this over the weekend, but the good readers of the NYTimes have already done our work for us. The Editorial, ran Tuesday, Oct. 6th, titled: |
