The constant theme running through the Sarah Palin articles that have been springing up like mushrooms after a rainstorm since she burst on the national scene a year and a half ago, is: why do they hate her so much?
Well, we know why men would hate her - no mystery there. An embarras de choix in fact: -

misogyny: she belongs to a group that it is OK to hate;

politics: she belongs to the wrong political party/ideology (conservative);

elitism: she is white trailer trash and didn't go to Harvyale;

What do Feministing and Sarah Palin have in common? An intense dislike of Family Guy. Family Guy is Liberal Dude Nation at it apogee. They use every misogyny know to man, but racial slurs not at all. About a week ago Feministing complained about Family Guy's rape jokes and this week Sarah Palin complained about retard jokes.

Palin wrote that she'd asked her daughter what she thought of the show and Bristol's reply was "a much more restrained and gracious statement than I want to make about an issue that begs the question: When is enough enough?"

As democratic men drop out like flies --most recently Patrick Kennedy and now Evan Bayh, I have not yet seen an itty bit of vitriol from the Patriarchy Press calling these men quitters or idiots for quitting. When men quit there is a reason, when women do, they are dolts. Ah, more to come on that later. For now, I am betting that Bayh is thinking to unseat the King of Zero from his throne in 2012.

Joan is in Classic MEAN Girl anti-feminist mode as she mocks Palin with the glee of a 12-year-old middle schooler circa 1984. Joan, the 80s are SO over.

Good News we forgot to mention: Anti-Feminist Kathy Griffin has been
banned from CNN. No it wasn't her sexist remarks that got her off the CNN airwaves but the F word. Too Bad...but whatever the reason, Griffin's anti-woman mouth is one we are happy to see go BYE-BYE!

Cindy McCain is the women so-called "Liberal" Media loves to target with misogyny and hate. Check this!!: the "evil" woman has taken up the cause of gay marriage!

I have been thinking about the unprecedented American hatred unleashed upon Sarah Palin. I am a pro-choice woman who has voted democratic about 70% of the time. (That’s a rough estimate of all elections.) Never was a fan of Newt and company. Cheney pissed me off. It seemed like that faction just didn’t like women. But the hatred unleashed at Hillary and then Palin woke me up to multilateral hatred of powerful women. Now that HRC is out, it is all focused on Palin. Why? What is her crime exactly?

This week, to coincide with the release of Sarah Palin's book Going Rogue, Newsweek plain ol’ flipped out! Misogynist editor Jon Meacham bound up his threatened testicles and printed two stories designed to incite gender distain/hatred (one by I-like-me-women-denuded Evan Thomas, the other by pathological Christopher Hitchens who is said to have removed all the female pronouns from his copy of King James) about the former Alaska governor.
