Dirty Harry--Sen. Reid and Unions

union Fat Cat.jpg

Fast Fact from Today’s WSJ: Unions outspent businesses by more than 2 to 1 in 2013. If money corrupts, then one would expect Mr. Reid and his colleagues to condemn the "corrupt" influence of unions in politics. And these Democrats presumably would brand liberal billionaire Tom Steyer's pledge to commit his political-action committee to spend $100 million to defeat Republicans in 2014 as especially corrupting—but Mr. Reid has instead welcomed the support.~ Theodore B. A Tribute to the Late, Very VERY Great, Margaret Thatcher

margaret thatcher rules.jpg

Margaret Thatcher. Power. A woman took a country mired in rot and saved it. She suffered no fools, and the entire world is the better for it. It was Margaret Thatcher who saw the glint of serious sanity in Mikhail Gorbachev’s eye and said: this is a man I can “do business” with. Yes, Ronald Reagan as well, but it was the Iron Lady, the Lady Not for Turning, who was the woman who brought communism to its knees, never mind saving her own country from economic collapse and obilvion.

Obama back in the game of picking winners (unions) over losers( private enterprise).

I've learned by now that anything Obama says he Really means something else. He is against health care mandate, then he's for it. He says you can keep your insurance if you like it, but forgot to mention that meant for a short sliver of time until his reforms forced you out of your doctor, your insurance and also put your doctor out of private practice and into VAST HMOs where the doctor will be hard pressed to NOT give you service and instead spend that money on keeping fat people from eating too much.

Ohio says yes to Big Union costs, no to paying for them

Well Ohio voters rejected reigning in union costs. And in the same day, Ohio voters rejected tax increases that will be needed to fund these union costs. Uh Oh.

.
From the Columbus Dispatch:

With a beer in his hand and a smile on his face at the We Are Ohio celebration at the Hyatt Regency, Ohio Democratic Chairman Chris Redfern said public workers should not be the scapegoats for the state’s economic problems.

Now this from comment in the Columbus Dispatch:

This headline could also read: Ohio loses 2 more Congressional seats in 2020.

Even the NYTimes admits public workers are gettn it over on private workers

Gov. Chris Christie is like Adolf Hitler and New Jersey is like Nazi Germany, a local labor leader declared at a rally against the governor’s proposed pension reform moves Thursday.

Watch it asshole, with the name calling. For the many who back Christie and his union reforms you are calling us some big bad names. I have one simple question to Labor: where is my private pension? And Labor has an answer: work harder you twit so public Labor can bleed you dry.

Barack H. Obama as Mob Boss in Chief

Obama-Gangster-3-300x182.jpg

In what may be the strongest signal yet of the new pro-labor orientation of the National Labor Relations Board under President Obama, the agency filed a complaint Wednesday seeking to force Boeing to bring an airplane production line back to its unionized facilities in Washington State instead of moving the work to a nonunion plant in South Carolina. ~NYTimes

Barack Hussein Obama our new Union Boss

Wisconsin-Signs-300x200.png

The best summation of Obama’s failure to lead responsibility on the matter of Wisconsin taxpayers vs. public unions is this by Peter Wehner of Commentary:

President Obama’s intervention also occurred during a week in which he released his own deeply irresponsible budget — one that avoids any of the difficult decisions that are necessary given our nation’s unprecedented fiscal imbalance. It is as if Mr. Obama, having proved he’s fundamentally unserious about fiscal issues on a national level, now wants to impede chief executives who are acting responsibly on a state level.

Women just breeders says The Church + Union Blues

“The mother’s life cannot be preferred over the child’s,” the bishop’s communication office elaborated in a statement.

This repugnant statement says everything one needs to hear about misogyny in the Catholic Church. It comes from a
Kristof column in The Times. Here is more from the piece. DO READ, but only on an empty stomach!
